Despite a strong Belgian and Luxembourgish student community abroad, OUBLS was the first academic society dedicated to either country in the United Kingdom. We organise several events each term, including social events, academic lectures and an annual Black-tie dinner, and we are generously supported by various companies in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a national society, we also represent the interest of the Belgian and Luxembourgish students to the Student Union and University as a whole. Furthermore, we engage in assisting and providing information to potential applicants in both countries who are interested in coming to study at Oxford.

We attract people of all nationalities to our events and we pride ourselves in our inclusiveness. Absolutely everyone is welcome and encouraged to sample our culture and values at our events! The great success of our recent events in Michaelmas Term, 2022 have already attracted a brilliant and diverse crowd that we want to keep growing!

For more information or if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We're always looking to grow as a community, academic society, and committee and your input is invaluable.

We hope to see you at one of our events!
