The Oxford University Belgo-Luxembourgish Society is an academic society dedicated to support and promote the interest in Belgium and Luxembourg at the University of Oxford.

Despite a strong Belgian and Luxembourgish student community abroad, OUBLS was the first academic society dedicated to either country in the United Kingdom. We organise several events each term, including social events, academic lectures and an annual Black-tie dinner, and we are generously supported by various companies in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a national society, we also represent the interest of the Belgian and Luxembourgish students to the Student Union and University as a whole. Furthermore, we engage in assisting and providing information to potential applicants in both countries who are interested in coming to study at Oxford.

With the support of the British Embassy in Brussels and the Belgian Ministries of Education, OUBLS hosts an annual Oxford and Cambridge Admissions Conference in Brussels, Belgium. More information about this event, including dates and programme, is available on the dedicated OCAC webpage.

We attract people of all nationalities to our events and we pride ourselves in our inclusiveness. Non-students are also welcome.

For more information or if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.

We hope to see you at one of our events!
